Allergy Test

When trying out a new Essential Oil perform a ‘Patch Test’ to determine how your skin is reacts to it.

Simple steps for conducting a Patch Test

  • Clean the area behind of the ears with water
  • Pat dry
  • Rub a few drops of diluted essential oil into a small patch behind your ears
  • Leave it for 12 hours

If the skin patch is red, itchy, blistering, or swollen, you have had an adverse reaction to the oil and should discontinue use.
